Lightning and Trumpet redesigned the MIT Libraries home page in order to streamline access to their multiple databases. Our collaboration with the client resulted in a page with a clear hierarchy, focused on a simple, prominent search tool. The layout integrates new features and direct access to library resources within a framework that is elastic and editable by the client. The new design captures the spirit of the Institute—colorful, modern, and adroit.
